A featured stop on the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor, the Wagener Museum showcases artifacts and documents telling the story of the community since the railroad arrived in 1887. Exhibits focus on the era of the family farm and "The Swamp Rabbit" train. Notable displays include the official South Carolina Conestoga Wagon (received 1977, now housed in a newly built Wagon House) and items related to the political, social, economic, and military history of Wagener and Aiken County. Located on Short Street since 2005.
