Apple Pie

Ingredients
1 batch
Two Crust Pie Pastry
6 cups
Tart Apples
(pared)
1 Tbsp
Corn Starch
1 tsp
Cinnamon
2 Tbsp
Butter
Instructions
Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry.
Fill with apple slices.
In a bowl combine sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over apples.
Dot with butter.
Cover with slit pastry.
Seal edges.
Bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes until golden brown.
💡 Tips & Notes
To glaze a pie crust, brush top with beaten egg yoke.
